Summary
Attended the Oregon School for the Deaf before transferring to and graduating the Michigan State Academy for the Deaf in 2000. Entered Gallaudet University in fall 2000; discovered beaten to death in his dormitory room. After an initial false arrest, D.C. police eventually arrested Joseph Mesa jr. (q.v.) for this murder as well as another one. Mesa was tried and convicted for both murders in July 2002.
