              From Matane, Quebec; attended the Mackay Institute for Protestant Deaf-Mutes 1935-1947 and the Kendall School for the Deaf 1948-1950. Entered Gallaudet College 1950, graduating with a B.A. in 1955, then studied at the Germain School of Photography in New York City 1955-1956. Teacher at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind 1956-1957, teacher and dorm supervisor at the American School for the Deaf 1957-1959. Photographer for the Hispanic Society of America 1960-1976. Married William Charles Siebert (hearing) in 1960.
