Fleming, Raymond

Entered the novitate (Catholic monkhood) in the Franciscian order; during his religious studies at the Washington, DC Francisician monastery, he also attended Gallaudet College, graduating the latter in 1974. Received a special dispensation from his order to tour with the National Theatre of the Deaf for several years in both backstage and acting roles. Later finally completed his priestly studies and was ordained to the Catholic priesthood.
