Summary
Hearing. Was patroness of the Institutet for Dofstumma (Institute for the Deaf and Dumb) founded by Per Aron Borg (q.v.) in Stockholm. Disagreement with Borg on his management of the school resulted in the queen removing him as principal of the institute in 1816 and replacing him with Carl Modeer, then in 1817 she made Gabriel Guilbrand and Peter Atke Castberg responsible for the school.
