Summary
Born deaf at Richfield, Digby Co., Nova Scotia; graduated Halifax School for the Deaf, 1948; studied commercial art, design, and cartooning 1949-1951 through a correspondence course. Illustrated for several Canadian wildlife magazines. Founder of the Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf. Authored A Deaf Artist's Trail. Married Lucille May Anne Zimmer Dietrich in 1987, but was diagnosed with seriously metasized colon cancer only six months later, and died after another six months.
