Oliva, Gina

Attended public schools in Connecticut; went to Washington College (Chestertown, MD), but spent her last year at Gallaudet College, earning her Washington College B.A. degree in 1972. Earned a Ph.D. from another university. Aerobics and workout instructor and faculty member in the department of Physical Education and Recreation at Gallaudet University; produced two exercise videos for the deaf. Married Rick Baldi, also deaf, in 1992. Autobiography is Alone in the Mainstream (2004).
