Summary
Born deaf; attended public schools and the California School for the Deaf, Berkeley. Graduated Gallaudet College in 1965, and worked for Walt Disney Productions as a librarian. Won a local Emmy Award, 1975, in Los Angeles for his signed television news program, the first in the area. Quit both jobs in 1976 to enter film school at the American Film Institute. Performed in bit parts in at least two TV programs. In 2000, was working as lead archivist at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
