Summary
Born at Boston; deafened and blinded in one eye at age 2 1/2 by illness; was the second student enrolled at the American School for the Deaf. Was teacher at the American School, 1825 to 1833 or 1834; active in the Episcopal Church; married Ann Sharp of Boston on Sept. 13, 1849. Died unexpectedly from an illness.
