              Summary
Although regarded as eccentric by his hearing neighbors, he was well respected and held in high esteem as an honest man. When he died, they paid for a special headstone, bearing a custom-written poem, for his grave in St. Modwen's Churchyard, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.
