Summary
Born at Winnipeg, MB; deaf at 18 months from illness. Mainstreamed at age 5 for 1 year, then went to the Deaf and Oral Day School in Winnipeg before transferring to the Manitoba School for the Deaf until 1972. 9 months business education course at St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute (MN), then worked 14 years as a keypunch operator in Manitoba. Retrained for 2 1/2 years to become an outreach worker in the deaf community. Active in Winnipeg area deaf organizations and events. Married Bruce Koskie, also deaf.
