Born deaf at Guelph, ON; graduated the E.C. Drury School for the Deaf in 1993. 3 years at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and a correspondence course in pet grooming. In 2002, was studying animal health care to become a veterinary assistant. Active in equestrian events since age 10 and winner of several awards in horse shows and dressage competitions.
