Summary
Born in Kentucky; attended the Kentucky School for the Deaf. B.A. from Gallaudet College, other degrees from Connecticut College and New York University. Helped found the New York Deaf Theatre; after several years with the National Theatre of the Deaf, began writing and directing original plays. Author of several sign language books for young children. Has a stand-up comedy act, which was recorded on a commercially-available videotape.
