Crook, Lottie Mae

Deafened at age 10; graduated the Alabama School for Negro Deaf at Talladega, then went on to a white high school. Attended Gallaudet College, graduating in 1962. Employed by the U.S. Treasury in Washington DC; a founder and past president of Black Deaf Advocates (now National Black Deaf Advocates).
