Resident of Rowley, MA, where he was known locally as "Deaf Lad". Philip Nelson (q.v.) attempted to teach him to speak the word "Ephphatha", possibly unsuccessfully. Kilbourn later apparently had a daughter, Elizabeth, born in 1685, and so presumably also a wife, probably hearing.
