Born deaf at Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB; graduated the Saskatchewan School for the Deaf in 1959. Worked for the Manitoba provincial government, then married an American, moving with him to Montana. She raised a family there, then worked as a teacher's aide at the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind 1972- . Also active in local and state deaf organizations, winning several awards.
