Summary
Invented "Hand-Up", a carrying device that allowed one man to carry a mattress or large sheets of materials such as glass, plywood, or sheetrock; hung on the wall, it doubled as a storage hanger. Patented in 1980, it saw modest production. He later invented and marketed "Hand-Up Lifter", another device allowing a pair of people to hand-carry large and heavy objects, such as sofas and refrigerators, more efficiently and with reduced strain.
