Summary
Born deaf in Cincinnati, OH; studied at the School of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany, and the Academy of Munich. Exhibited in the International Exhibition of Fine and Applied Arts by Deaf Artists, 1934. Specialized in animal sculptures. Had a large studio in Berlin, which was destroyed by bombing during World War II. Moved to Amberg, Germany, from 1950 until his death.
