Summary
Born at Ottawa, IL; deaf at 4 months from serious illness and fever. Graduated the Illinois School for the Deaf and Gallaudet College. Emigrated to Canada in 1983. Worked in various positions for deaf social service agencies, and helped establish the Sign Talk Children's Centre in 1987.
