Summary
Student in the Mackay Institution for Protestant Deaf-Mutes, Montreal, until 1912. At age 15, became a member of the Royal Highlanders' Guards and was stationed at Canal de Solanges in the St. Lawrence River on defense of the canal locks. Accidently fatally shot in the head by another sentry while on sentry duty.
