Summary
Born deaf at Philadelphia; graduated Pennsylvania School for the Deaf 1881-1895; studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Specialized in portraits and had a public studio in downtown Philadelphia. Some of his works are found in the Philosophical Society of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Appellate Court Room in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Historical Society, and many private collections.
