Bennet, Catherine Ruth "Cathy"

Born deaf at Springdale, NF; graduated the Newfoundland School for the Deaf in 1988. BA from Gallaudet University, 1993, and MA from National Technical Institute for the Deaf, 1999. Taught ASL as a foreign language in Rochester public schools 1996-1999. Taught briefly at the Rochester School for the Deaf before moving to Colorado to be an ASL specialist at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind.
