Summary
Hearing. Son of Per Aron Borg (q.v.) and succeeded his father as principal of the Institutet for Dovstumma (Institute for the Deaf and Dumb) upon the elder Borg's death. He introduced the "German method" (oral method) into Swedish deaf education in 1860. Under the younger Borg's directorship, a new replacement school faclity was built and opened in 1864, the Allmanna Insitutet for Dovstumma och Blinda (Public Institute for Deaf-Mutes and the Blind).
