Plapinger, Anna

Attended the Lexington School for the Deaf, then taught there, the only deaf teacher of her time to be teaching in an oral school for the deaf. Her two hearing daughters, Dorothy Polakoff and Shirley Stein, later became faculty members at Gallaudet University.
