Summary
Born at Boonesville, MS, and deafness discovered at age 9 months, probably from ototoxic medication for a fever. Entered the Mississippi School for the Deaf; later transferred to the Tennessee School for the Deaf, graduating 1967. Studied art at Meredith College (Raleigh, NC). Her paintings have been exhibited at galleries in Mississippi, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.
