Summary
Manitoba School for the Deaf 1965-1974. Competed in the World Games for the Deaf, 1969, when just 12 years old, winning 3 silver medals. Critically injured in a 1970 bus accident, but rebounded, swimming again 3 1/2 months later and 2 days after leaving the hospital; competed again in the 1973 WGD, taking home a bronze medal.
