Robinson, Jo-Anne Marie

Born deaf at Vancouver, BC and graduated from Jericho Hill School for the Deaf, 1967; B.S. (1972) from Gallaudet College; teacher training program diploma from University of British Columbia, 1973. Taught at the Alberta School for the Deaf, Alberta, from 1973 on. Involved with competitive swimming beginning in high school, through college, and in the national and international deaf competitions; heavily involved with Canadian deaf sports organizations.
