Arenberg, Iva Vaughn

Began at Jordan Falls Public School to 1956, then the Halifax School for the deaf 1956-1961, Interprovincial School for the Education of the Deaf 1961-1964, Gallaudet College 1974-1979 (B.A.). Married a hearing man, Fred Walker, in 1983. With him, co-founded the Oshawa Deaf Centre in Oshawa, ON in 1981. Worked for a vocational training center for the deaf 1988-1991, then in 1995 onward as director of its vocational training department.
