Carlin, Sheila Marie

Deafness not diagnosed until 15 months of age; attended several mainstream programs in several Manitoba towns through 6th grade, then entered the Manitoba School for the Deaf, graduating high school there. Worked for 2 years in child care, then entered Gallaudet University in 1993, graduating 1999. Worked in several social service agency positions back home in Winnipeg and taught ASL.
