Summary
Deaf at age 18 months from scarlet fever and attended the Ontario Institution for the deaf 1872-1875. Homesteaded near Lipton, ON 1904-1915, then sold the land but continued to work on it for the new owners for many years until retiring to Regina, Saskatchewan.
