Summary
In the early 1970s, Robert Weitbrecht, the TTY co-inventor, asked her to house the equipment for the San Francisco-Oakland Dial-a-News (DAN) TTY service in her house, and to enter and edit the DAN daily news reports. The DAN function was later taken over by Edward Ingram and George Attletweed.
