Fitzpatrick, Hilton J. "Fitzy"

Also known as "First Round Fitzy", was once ranked 6th in world heavyweight boxers. Born at Oak Hill, WV; attended the West Virginia School for the Deaf. Won the 1940 state Golden Gloves title; fought for 12 years; retired in 1953. Died at his daughter's home in Melrose Park, IL.
