Clark, Isabella

Became deaf at age 4; entered the Glasgow Insitution for the Instruction of Deaf-Mutes at age 14, remaining until about age 19. Her whereabouts 1824-1834 are unknown, but in 1834 she became also blind from cataracts, and entered the Glasgow Blind Asylum, where she later died.
