Wilson, John

Studied acting at the University of Reading (England)'s Theatre of the Deaf, at a school in Perugia, Italy, and in Paris. Acted in, directed, and co-directed several plays. Was artistic director of the National Youth Theatre of the Deaf, then with the National Deaf Forum Theatre, and gave training workshops on deaf issues in theater. Sign language advisor for the British film Four weddings and a funeral (1994). Appeared as a presenter and contributor several times on British television programs for the deaf or disabled.
