Summary
Deaf at age 2 from spinal meningitis after being born in Toronto, ON. Educated at the Ontario Institution for the Education of the Deaf and Dumb 1885-1893. After graduation, married fellow student Noah Labelle on Dec. 29, 1903. In 1912, Noah decided to go into the harness and shoe repair business on his own in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. She assisted him in the shop for 40 years until they retired in 1952.
