Curtis, May Koehn

Born at Montezuma, KS; graduated Gallaudet College in 1933. Taught at South Dakota School for the Deaf; married Ivan Curtis. During WWII, moved to Akron and worked in an aircraft factory. Post-war, moved to Washington DC and worked as a clerk in the Pentagon. After retirement, spent many years doing a variety of volunteer work at Gallaudet University. Lived in Kansas her last few years; died at Olathe, KS; ashes buried at Montezuma, KS.
