Summary
Born deaf at Baltimore, MD; attended the St. Francis Xavier School for the Deaf in Baltimore but transferred to the Maryland School for the Deaf when the first school closed, graduating MSD in 1953. Attended the Maryland Institute College of Art, graduating 1959. Worked 25 years as an artist for the Baltimore News-American, gradually becoming a full-time freelance artist. Noted for dog and wildlife prints; has won several duck-hunting-license and fishing-license stamp design competitions.
