Francis, Tina Marie

Born at Malone, NY; graduated the New York State School for the Deaf at Malone in 1979. Married a hearing man, then attended National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Dropped out of NTID due to pregnancy, reentered, but had to drop out again for lack of funding. Began a business as a seamstress in Akwensasne (the Mohawk reservation) and had modest success.
