Madden, Michael James

First Canadian student to enroll at Gallaudet College, in 1888 and graduating in 1893. Attended the Ontario Institution in Belleville 1877-1882, the Texas Deaf and Dumb Asylum 1882-1887, and the Kendall School 1887-1888 before entering Gallaudet. Taught at the Ontario Institution, 1898-1905, then moved to Nashville, TN and worked there as an accounting clerk. In 1907, married Mary G. Schutz.
