Attended the Winnipeg Day School for Deaf Children 1958-1965 Manitoba School for the Deaf 1965-1971, St. Paul Technical College 1971-1973. Worked 2 years as an accounting clerk in Winnipeg, then went to Gallaudet College in 1976, graduating 1981 with a B.A. In 1982, married Edmund Burke Nagle. M.Ed. from Western Maryland College, 1991; taught at the Manitoba School for the Deaf 1992 onward.
