Summary
Left a will despite being uneducated and illiterate. During probate of the will, a judge at first refused it, saying Geale could not have understood it. But after Geale's lawyer described in detail Geale's natural signing and gestures showing that he had in fact understood the will, the judge reversed himself and accepted the will.
