Kirby, Gary Wayne

Born deaf at Leachville, AR, possibly from maternal rubella but also possibly from Rh incompatibility or from other hereditary factors. Graduated Kalamazoo Centeral High School in 1967 and from State Technical & Rehabilitation Institute in 1969. Worked as a printer for many years, then maintained large binding machines for a company that produced office supplies. Active in deaf athletic organizations, including serving as a coach.
