Deaf possibly from a birth defect; though deafness was not diagnosed until age 4. Mainstreamed in Catholic parochial schools, with the support of the New York League for the Hard of Hearing, through high school; graduated Fordham University 1976-1980. Worked in computer programming and then computer management for Texaco, Drexel Burnham Lambert, then Citibank.
