From Kemptown, NS; attended the Halifax School for the Deaf 1958-1961, the Interprovincial School for the Education of the Deaf 1961-1969, and Gallaudet College 1969-1974 (B.S.). Dorm counselor, teacher, or coach at Crotched Mountain Center (NH) and Jericho Hill Provincial School for the Deaf (BC). Executive director of Canadian Deaf Sports Association 1989-1991, director of an Alberta deaf social services agency 1991-1994, then part-time director of Alberta Association of the Deaf from 1994 onward. Married Jane Marie Studer.
