Puthoff, Larry R.

Born at Humboldt, SD; graduated South Dakota School for the Deaf in 1964. Graduated Gallaudet College 1969 and master's degree from California State University at Northridge. Teacher, coach, dean of boys, and acting principal at SDSD for 20 years before becoming first interim superintendent in 1991 and permanent superintendent in 1992, serving until 1995 when he resigned to go to work for Communication Service for the Deaf.
