Gagne, Marie Paule

Attended the Institution des Sourdes in Montreal, graduating 1954, then joined the order of La Congregation des Sours de Notre-Dame des Sept Douleurs (The Sisters of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows), a community of deaf Catholic nuns at Montreal. Taught normal deaf children in Catholic parochial school for 18 years, then for 21 years taught deaf children with multiple disabilities. She also became a member of a Catholic deaf outreach effort called Maison de la Foi (House of Faith).
