Wetzel, Marsha L.

Attended Gallaudet College, where she played on the women's basketball team, and graduated 1985; earned a second bachelor's from Gallaudet in 1990, an M.S. from Springfield College (MA) in 1993, and a second MS from Western Maryland College in 1998. Coached girl's basketball at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf, then became an instructor at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Played women's basketball in two World Games for the Deaf. Became the first female deaf basketball referee in NCAA Division I sports.
