Jenkins, Olive M.

Born at Coquimbo, Chile; deafened at age 8 from unknown causes. Her family moved to Victoria, BC, Canada in 1882. She attended the Manitoba Institution for the Education of the Deaf and Dumb 1891-1905. She then worked nearly 40 years at the School as a dormitory supervisor and counselor.
