Stratiy, Angela Jean Petrone

Born at Winnipeg, Manitoba; attended public schools, then the Saskatchewan School for the Deaf until graduation in 1965. B.A. (1970) from Gallaudet College. Taught briefly at the North Dakota School for the Deaf, then at the Manitoba School for the Deaf until 1986, earning an M.Ed. from Western Maryland College in 1975. Became Executive Director of the Canadian Cultural Society for the Deaf, 1988- . In 1978, married Roman Michael Stratiy (hearing).
