Figueroa, Luis "Wicho"

Native of Puerto Rico; deafened at age 6 from an illness; played baseball as a fielder for the Tacoma Rainiers in the Seattle Mariners farm system and, in 2001, a couple of games for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Returned to the minors, playing at home for the Mayaguez Indians in the Puerto Rico Winter League.
