Summary
Born at Antrim, NH; deafened at 2 1/2. Graduated the American School for the deaf in 1865. Trained as a printer, but instead went into clerking in various companies and agencies until becoming an electrician in New Haven about 1882. After 11 years, came to Los Angeles. Married Minnie May Strickler (q.v.).
